Basics
Basics What happens with cryotherapy / cold therapy?
What happens with cryotherapy / cold therapy?
In order to keep its core body temperature at 37 °C, the body boosts its metabolism. The skin surface temperature drops by approx. 15 Kelvin. The body activates its protective mechanism and produces heat, and the release of endorphins creates a feeling of happiness. This also provides energy, focus and promotes calorie consumption. The body's own defence system is activated and detoxification is stimulated. Blood flow and the production of collagen increases and the production of new cells is stimulated. The body releases hormones and enzymes into the bloodstream to aid regeneration.
Basics Is a cold chamber or a cryosauna used in the cryoduct?
Is a cold chamber or a cryosauna used in the cryoduct?
For whole-body cryotherapy, we use an electricity-driven high-performance cold chamber (most powerful cold chambers from Art of Cryo), i.e., no cryosauna or a nitrogen-operated system. In the cabin, the entire body is exposed to very dry air with a temperature of -110 °C. In this way, it is safe to expose the entire body including the head to the extremely low temperature. An electrically cooled cryochamber has the additional advantage that the cold is evenly distributed over the body. Nitrogen quickly sinks to the floor of the cabin and ensures that the upper body is less cold than the lower body.
Basics Kryotherapie, Cryotherapie or Cryotherapy?
Kryotherapie, Cryotherapie or Cryotherapy?
The meaning is the same. «Kryotherapie» is just the correct variant in German. However, as more and more terms from foreign languages are being incorporated into German, «cryotherapy» or «cryotherapie» is also increasingly found in German-written texts.

First visit
First visit How does the first visit work?
How does the first visit work?
With the certified software from RemediCool, we first determine the general applicability of a cold therapy for you. If applicable, the software determines your individual application time based on your personal physiological data (such as skin type, fitness level, gender, and BMI). Combined with your thermal perception before and during your first application at -110 °C, we can calculate your personal ideal application time taking your goals into account. Your cold experience begins with a continuous cold adjustment in the two anterooms at -10 °C and -60 °C, and the actual application takes place at -110 °C. A trained full-body cold coach will accompany you throughout the application. Of course, the application can be interrupted at any time and the chamber can be exited.
First visit Do I have to shower before or after the session?

HBOT
HBOT What is HBOT and how does it work?
What is HBOT and how does it work?
In hyperbaric oxygen therapy you breathe up to 97 % pure oxygen under slightly elevated pressure inside a pressure chamber. This dissolves oxygen directly in the blood plasma — independent of red blood cells — reaching tissue areas that are normally poorly supplied. It promotes cell regeneration, reduces inflammation and boosts cognitive and physical performance.
HBOT How long does a session last?
How long does a session last?
An HBOT session typically lasts 85 minutes.
HBOT What should I keep in mind before a session?
What should I keep in mind before a session?
Come well-rested and well-hydrated. If you smoke, avoid cigarettes at least 2 hours before the session — nicotine constricts blood vessels and noticeably reduces the therapy's effectiveness. Alcohol on the same day is also not recommended.
HBOT Who is HBOT suitable for?
Who is HBOT suitable for?
HBOT is suitable for competitive athletes in recovery, people with exhaustion or long-Covid symptoms, those with chronic inflammation, and post-operatively for faster wound healing.
IHHT
IHHT What is IHHT?
What is IHHT?
IHHT is cell training where you alternately breathe oxygen-depleted and oxygen-enriched air — comfortably lying down, without physical exertion. The intervals train the mitochondria, the "powerhouses" of your cells, and improve oxygen utilisation at the cellular level. The result: more energy, better endurance, strengthened cell health.
IHHT How does a session work?
How does a session work?
You lie relaxed on a lounger and breathe alternating hypoxic (oxygen-depleted) and hyperoxic (oxygen-enriched) air through a mask. A session lasts about 40–60 minutes. The intervals are individually tailored to you.
IHHT What should I keep in mind before a session?
What should I keep in mind before a session?
Please do not eat for 2 hours before the session — a full stomach can make the training uncomfortable. Avoid intense exercise at least 4 hours beforehand so your body is not already stressed and can respond optimally to the intervals.
IHHT How often should I do IHHT?
How often should I do IHHT?
For a noticeable effect we recommend 10–15 sessions, ideally 2–3 times per week. Many of our guests integrate IHHT as a regular longevity routine.
IHHT Who is IHHT particularly suitable for?
Who is IHHT particularly suitable for?
For people with declining performance, chronic exhaustion or limited resilience — but also for athletes who want to specifically improve their aerobic capacity. IHHT is gentle on the joints, passive and suitable for almost any age.
Flow
Flow What is Flow Compression Therapy?
What is Flow Compression Therapy?
Flow is a mechanical compression and lymphatic drainage therapy where cuffs on the legs, hips or arms apply rhythmic pressure. This promotes lymph flow, supports circulation and accelerates recovery — similar to a professional sports massage, but more precise and deeper.
